StaySafe wins Gold at Surrey Digital Awards

StaySafe are delighted to have come first in the Mobile App category at last night’s Surrey Digital Awards evening (10th March 2016).

The Surrey Digital Awards honour innovative and progressive use of digital technology for business with a focus on great design and user experience. Judges at this year’s event described StaySafe as “an intuitive and tastefully designed app with a satisfying user experience.”

StaySafe was founded in 2012 by Graham Mills when he recognised his lone working surveyors faced a number of risks when working alone. He realised that through digital and mobile technology he could develop a solution that provided efficient and trustworthy protection for lone workers across any industry. Founded in Guildford, Surrey, StaySafe is now in use across the globe from Canada and the US to Australia and New Zealand.

StaySafe won Silver in the same category at last year’s Surrey Digital Awards and winning the top award this year is testament to the continued successful development of the app over the past 12 months.

CEO at StaySafe, Don Cameron, comments “creating an app that combines functionality with an excellent user experience has always been of upmost importance for us and it is great to be recognised by experts in the digital world for the second year in a row. Cutting edge digital development is key to our business growth and success and gaining the top award in this area is testament to the continued hard work and dedication of the StaySafe team.”
